MUSIC AND FOLDER CONTRACT

You are assigned a folder at the beginning of the school year. All music handed out has numbers. You are given music with a number corresponding to your folder number. You are fully responsible for this piece of music. I f you lose it, lend it to someone, or get it "stolen," you are still responsible for it. No exceptions.

This folder is NOT yours to draw on or deface. You pick it up at the start of class and return it at the end of class. Choir folders MUST leave the choir room so you can practice.

At the time of music collection, if you fail to turn in your copy of the music for any reason, or you return it damaged or defaced, you will be charged the current market value for each piece of music. (Currently ranging from $1.60 to $10.00) Music prices have gone sky-high recently, we cannot afford to continue replacing music continuously. You must be responsible with your music.

You are assigned a sight-reading text corresponding to your folder number. If it is damaged or missing at any time you will be assessed a $5.00 replacement fee for the book.
You must return this music policy before you can be granted access to your choir folder and music.
I, the undersigned, by signing below, take full responsibility for possession of music and materials owned by Racine Unified School District. I understand that if I fail to return all materials given to me in the choir room at Horlick High School in the condition in which I received them, I will be assessed a replacement fee equal to the exact market price of the lost or damaged materials.
